A pre-employment course in commercial cookery has led to jobs at the Darwin Convention Centre. National Curriculum Papers Released for Feedback (20 November)
The National Curriculum Board has released framing papers today for English, mathematics, science and history proposing broad directions for what young people should learn from Kindergarten to Year 12 (K-12). Papers are available for review and comment on the Board's website until 28 February 2009. More
Young Scientists Awards (20 November)
Last night 91 NT students were rewarded for their outstanding achievements in science during 2008. Winners from primary and secondary schools across the NT were presented with awards from the CSIRO, Science Teachers Association of the Northern Territory and the Royal Australian Chemical Institute at Charles Darwin University.
