Welcome to the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre
The Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre aims to foster new Indigenous leadership at all levels, capable of finding ways forward for all Australians. It is a not-for-profit company, owned and controlled by Indigenous Australians.

The Centre was established in 2001. As a Registered Training Organisation, it offers accredited courses in Indigenous Leadership, and non-accredited short courses in specific leadership skills.

As well as providing courses, we aim to have a strong organisation which will:

  • Increase Indigenous people’s formal knowledge, skills and capacity to take effective leadership in their own lives and in their communities
  • Foster ongoing development and connection among our graduates
  • Research, promote and communicate the elements of effective Indigenous leadership
