Applied Research in Adult Learning

The Australian Computer Society, a member of the Australian Council of Professions, is seeking to establish a research culture to support its education activities with recent university graduates and older information technology workers. David Lindley, Academic Principal of the Australian Computer Society, hopes to work in partnership with ALA and university researchers to undertake and fund a research project with grants from the ARC Linkage Projects Scheme. A paper, presented to the recent ALA conference in Fremantle, outlines the proposed research with the purpose of stimulating constructive feedback from interested educators and researchers.
