The Australian Union Conference (AUC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church's National Board of Education provides scholarships for third and final year Bachelor degree students in teacher education or students entering the graduate-entry Bachelor of Teaching degree at Avondale College. With businesses driven entirely by Years 5 to 7 Esperance Christian Primary School students, the whole school had a blast buying and selling products and services during Business Week. Cakes, hotdogs and a car washing service were all available for students, parents and staff to purchase using the schools very own currency that the students designed and produced called primore.
