What is Teleconferencing
Teleconferencing allows people at a number of different locations to speak to each other via the telephone. The New England Institute has a teleconferencing bridge which can cater for three to fifteen sites. A phone number is allocated to each teleconference and at a specified time all parties involved in the teleconference dial the phone number. Participants are then able to participate in group discussions.

If the call is made outside your local exchange you will have to pay STD rates. The teleconference bridge is located at Tamworth.
What information do I need to give when booking a teleconference?

To book a teleconference you will be asked for the date and time of your teleconference and the number of lines you require.
What happens if I cancel my teleconference?
-
If you decide to cancel your teleconference and give more than two days notice prior to the date of your conference, you will still be required to pay the administration fee. If you give less than two days notice, you will be required to pay the administration fee and 100% of the charges, excluding line charges. To cancel your teleconference, please contact the

Is any special equipment needed for conducting teleconferences?

Normal telephones are all you require to conduct a teleconference.
When do I have to pay for my teleconference?

You will receive an invoice for your teleconference, after the teleconference has taken place.
