Manager Educational Performance: Sharyn Lidster
Educational Performance Services (EPS) collects and analyses data to inform the Department about the effectiveness of programs and strategies aimed at improving educational outcomes for all students.
Some specific examples of the work of EPS are:
- reporting on literacy and numeracy levels and benchmarks
- co-ordination of all applications to conduct research in government schools
- production of education reports and statistics on student attendance, disciplinary sanctions and exemptions, and performance indicators in primary schools (PIPS)
- management of the School Improvement Review process which reviews target setting and reporting within the school community
